Wake up in our villa in Florida and get set for a family trek up Everest
to face the fearsome Yeti-the Abominable Snowman. You'll be riding a
runaway train careering through the Himalayas. Treacherous chasms,
hair-pin bends, an ice cavern-this thrilling adventure is all thanks to
the amazing magic of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Their latest
exciting attraction Expedition Everest-Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
has now opened. Colossal new Everest is the tallest 'snowy
mountain' in Florida, 199ft high with 1,800 tons of steel. Disney's ace
'Imagineers' made it seem like an enormous mountain range. And the
giant 15ft Yeti looks awesome!
Nowhere on the planet is such a wonderful escape from everyday life as
Walt Disney World Resort, with 46 square miles of magic for the complete
holiday experience. Families can share incredible action-packed
adventures.
The new Everest is part of Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which has
five 'lands' of excitment. On its world-famous Kilimanjaro Safaris you
can cross a rolling savannah filled with freely roaming wildlife. Don't
miss the Maharajah Jungle Trek, where tigers prowl and real dragons
live. And visit Dinoland USA to be blasted through meteors and face
ferocious predators, on a mission to save the last dinosaur.
A favourite adventure for all ages in the Magic Kingdom Park is Pirates
of the Caribbean, one of the all-time great attractions. Another
floating gem is the hilarious Jungle Cruise. But for hectic action head
for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, a frantic ride through the Wild West.
Then cool down on the Splash Mountain ride before rocketing to the stars
on the Space Mountain roller-coaster.

At all theme parks a handy alternative to queuing is to use the 'Fast
pass' kiosk service for key attractions.
Sunny Florida is spot-on for a swim. Disney Water Parks (seasonal
operation) offer idyllic places to both relax and have adventure galore.
Disney's Blizzard Beach water park has a choice of white water rafting,
flumes, tube runs and slides. If you really want a thrill opt for Summit
Plummet! At 120ft high and 60mph it's one of the world's tallest,
fastest free-fall speed slides, lots of Brits who go to Florida every
year love going on it.
Visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park for more adventures. Try the
new Crush 'n' Gusher roller coaster and test your nerve at Shark Reef,
where you can swim with real sharks. (equipment and training provided)
Go body surfing in one of the world's largest wave pools. But if you
want water at a relaxing pace drift over to Castaway Creek, which has a
45-minute tube ride through caves and rainforest.
The excitement continues beyond the parks. Golf, spas, cycling, sailing
and other sports can be part of your holiday. And don't miss Downtown
Disney which has lively cafes, 70 shops, cinemas, shows and an
interactive Disney Quest theme park with five floors of virtual realty
games. They even let you create your own hi-tech adventures! Seaworld.
- SeaWorld have a new killer whale spectacular "Believe" This production is the most ambitious entertainment project in SeaWorld's history. It blends killer whales thrashing about with music, choreography and state-of-the-art multimedia. The show takes place several times daily at SeaWorld Orlando. Another new show not to miss at the theme park is "Blue Horizons" a spectacular theatrical extravaganza combining dolphins and whales, daredevil performers and exotic birds, all together with a hint of Broadway magic!
- Seaworld, in spring 2008 will be opening a new water park called Aquatica. This brand new water park will be something special! The park will be located on 58 acres of land, on the east side International Drive. It will be about one third the size of the original SeaWorld water theme park and about twice the size of Discovery Cove with visitor numbers expected to be limited to around 7,500 people.
- The new Aquatica water park is described by SeaWorld as being "naturalistic" and features 36 water slides, six winding rivers and lagoons with tropical fish.
